什么是白炽灯：其实就是我们平时所见的透明玻璃外形的，可以看见内部灯丝结构的普通灯泡，下右图所示为家用照明用的白炽灯泡外形。白炽灯是一种将电能转化为光能的发光光源，白炽一词来源其发光原理（见下文）。这种光源价格低廉，工艺简单，常用在要求不高的局部照明，但也因其功耗和亮度的局限，在我们的生活领域目前逐渐被节能灯，LED灯具等新型发光源所取代。


What is incandescent lamp: in fact, it is the shape of transparent glass that we usually see. You can see the ordinary bulb with internal filament structure. The figure on the right below shows the shape of incandescent bulb for household lighting. Incandescent lamp is a light source that converts electric energy into light energy. The term incandescent comes from its luminous principle (see below). This kind of light source is cheap, simple process, commonly used in the local lighting with low requirements, but also because of its power consumption and brightness limitations, it is gradually replaced by energy-saving lamps, LED lamps and other new light sources in our life.

白炽灯的发光原理白炽灯由玻璃泡、灯丝、灯头三部分组成。灯丝用熔点高和不易蒸发的钨丝做成，小功率的灯泡内抽成真空，大功率（大于40瓦）的灯泡内抽成真空后，充以惰性气体，如氩气等，灯泡的灯头，有插口式 和螺口式两种，功率**过300瓦的灯泡，一般都采用螦口灯头，因为螺口式灯头在电接触和散热方面 都比插口式灯头好。


Incandescent lamp is composed of glass bulb, filament and lamp cap. The filament is made of tungsten wire which has high melting point and is not easy to evaporate. The small power bulb is vacuumized, and the high-power bulb (more than 40 watts) is filled with inert gas, such as argon. There are two kinds of bulb caps, socket type and screw type. Generally, the screw type cap is used for the bulb with power more than 300 watts, because the screw type cap has advantages in electric contact and heat dissipation It's better than socket lamp.
